Active seniors!

Now here’s a real source of inspiration!

This morning, several residents from Résidences Soleil Manoir Sainte-Julie took part in Josée Lavigueur’s “En force” spot during the television show “Salut, Bonjour!”

Keep an eye out for one of our elderly residents, Ms. Laurette Hébert. She’s 98 years old, and in pretty good shape!

It’s now accepted that staying active is the key to aging well. Why not start now?

This is why at Résidences Soleil, we steadfastly focus on working with our residents’ committees and recreational activities coordinators to introduce stimulating and varied activities that will suit everyone. Residents at Résidences Soleil simply cannot become bored, what with our panoply of recreational activities designed to meet varied expectations: trivia games, shuffleboard, cards, lawn bowling, bag tossing, bridge, billiards, as well as bingo games, social dances, walking clubs, piano playing, libraries and Internet lounges, choirs, organized outings, arts and crafts and sewing rooms, and let’s not forget the swimming pools, spas, saunas and exercise rooms. Some of our newer buildings also include an 18-hole indoor mini-putt course, a golf simulation room, two bowling lanes, and a large cinema and theatre room for the enjoyment of residents. We also offer daily organized activities for our residents. The latter can also participate in a number of events, special celebrations, shows and musical afternoons where they can socialize with their friends.
