On Saturday, May 31, Beloeil’s Polybel high school once again turned into a vibrant and full of energy-sharing venue<\/strong>, to host the Club Optimiste de Beloeil’s Lobster Feast 43rd edition<\/font><\/strong><\/strong>, under the honorary presidency of Mr. Eddy Savoie.<\/font><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The event raised $65,000 <\/font><\/strong>
for the Beloeil Optimist Club’s mission!<\/font><\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Under the attentive and caring gaze of 400 guests<\/strong>, a grandiose feast came to life, celebrating youth and its future. For the past 34 consecutive years under the presidency of Mr. Eddy Savoie, <\/font><\/strong>this inspiring collective effort has helped support the region’s youth. With the unfailing involvement of the Club Optimiste de Beloeil and the Savoie Family, these donations have given young people the opportunity to blossom, to believe in their dreams and to build their future with confidence.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by many distinguished guests: Mrs. Nadine Viau, Mayor of Beloeil<\/strong>, Mr. Marc-Andr\u00e9 Guertin, Mayor of Mont-Saint-Hilaire<\/strong>, Mr. Jean Martel, Mayor of Boucherville<\/strong>, and several Beloeil councillors: Mrs. Louise Allie, Mrs. Ren\u00e9e Trudel, Mrs. Julie Lavoie, Mr. Vincent Chabot and Mr. Martin Robert.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thousands of lobsters made a triumphant entrance <\/strong>with the catchy rhythms of the music, greeted like rock stars by thunderous applause. At the heart of this effervescence radiated the generosity and unfailing commitment of the many volunteers<\/strong> who worked all evening, with heart and kindness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their outstanding efficiency radiated with pride, as they were delighted to take part in this emblematic evening. Thanks to their attentive presence, everyone was able to take full advantage of every moment while enjoying this jewel of the sea, without the slightest false note!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the highlights of the evening was undoubtedly when
Mr. Savoie addressed the guests with simplicity and sincerity, introducing the members of the Savoie Family<\/a> who were present, demonstrating with obvious pride the importance of intergenerational transmission of the values of commitment that lie at the heart of their mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four generations of the Savoie family were present, <\/strong>including the 4th who, at only 10 years of age, was immersed in the art of giving back, watched with pride by Grandpa Eddy, Grandma Carmelle and all the guests. For the Savoie family, learning to lend a hand when you’ve been lucky enough to receive so much is a duty to pass on, a duty to remember, so as never to forget.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Embodying the philosophy of generosity and unwavering commitment to the community, this event illustrates the Savoie family’s ongoing commitment<\/a>to the Club Optimiste de Beloeil, as well as to many other causes! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Savoie Family would like to extend their warmest thanks to each and every guest for their unfailing support and generosity. Their generosity is priceless and contributes directly to supporting the various initiatives of the Club Optimiste de Beloeil. Thanks to the attentive support of generous donors, we can pursue our concrete actions and continue to sow light in the lives of many young people.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
