At Les R\u00e9sidences Soleil, every life story is unique, and some of them literally span a century of history and memories. Three centenarians who have lived at Les R\u00e9sidences Soleil Manoir Granby for over 10 years were honored during the October birthday celebration, honoring this remarkable age surrounded by their loved ones and alongside all of our birthday parties of the month, employees, and residents.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This moment is especially remarkable because it is a rare occasion to have three centenarians, in the same residence, in the same month! And even rarer that two of them are men.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

During the festivities, our three centenarians shared some humorous and wise reflections on their daily lives, their vision of happiness, and the reasons why they feel at home at Les R\u00e9sidences Manoir Granby<\/a>. They also expressed their gratitude to the Savoie Family, thanks to whom they now enjoy free rent for life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our centenarians shared with us what makes their daily lives so enjoyable at Manoir Granby: a peaceful, stimulating, and caring environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe most important thing, above all, is peace of mind, having a good relationship with my partner, listening to music, and walking every day, and that’s what I find here.\u201d<\/p>\n– Mr. Grimard <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDancing has been part of my life since I was 18. Reaching 100 years of age is a remarkable achievement, and R\u00e9sidences Soleil recognizes this through its Privil\u00e8ge Soleil Program<\/a><\/strong>, which offers free rent to residents who have lived in the same R\u00e9sidences Soleil unit for at least 10 years when they reach 100 years of age!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is one of the oldest programs established in the early years of the family business in recognition of their loyalty and appreciation.

It was in 1999, as part of the International Year of Older Persons<\/strong>, that Les R\u00e9sidences Soleil celebrated the birthday of the very first centenarian at Les R\u00e9sidences Soleil, the late Mrs. Laurence, at Manoir Boucherville<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

For the occasion, she received the best birthday present ever: free rent for life!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Living to 100, an unexpected gift<\/font><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Although none of our three happy centenarians ever imagined they would live to be 100, each of them shared some secrets for living a long life with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Le secret de la long\u00e9vit\u00e9 est de faire une bonne vie et de ne pas exag\u00e9rer dans rien. Mon conseil pour les jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations : (\u2026) s\u2019adapter \u00e0 la vie et \u00e0 ses d\u00e9fis, chaque jour !<\/em> (\u2026) et de ne pas faire trop d\u2019exag\u00e9rations.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n– Mr. Grimard<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
