(Granby) ''It was two amazing nights !'' Placide Rodrigue, artistic director of the ''Grand choeur de Noël à Notre-Dame'' for the Granby's Hospital Foundation, is very statisfied with the two concerts offered Friday and Saturday at Church Notre-Dame... maybe for the last time.
The concert was presented as cantatas, in five parts. This way, it was possible to cover a large register making the public feel a range of different emotions such as traditionnal Christmas, nostalgia and festivities.
It's not official these concerts will stop. But the church's transformation into a multifunction room is living some doubt whether there will another edition or not at this location.
'' There will for sure be another edition next year, but location is for now undecided, explains Mr. Rodrigue. These concerts are held since 2003 and located at the church Notre-Dame since 2008. We will definitly think about it and come back with great new ideas. ''
Even though the room wasn't full, at least 800 places were filled and the goal of reaching $ 70 000 was possible because of Mr. Eddy Savoie's donation of $ 4 000.
