Polling station
A decent and effective way to vote for our residents
Did you know that in all Les Residences Soleil, we offer in partnership with Elections Québec, a polling station within the residence?
In order to give all our residents the chance to vote, we put at their disposal a polling station regulated by Election Québec, in each of our residences during the advance polling days. It is therefore possible to vote on several days in our different residences. In addition, information sessions were held a few weeks earlier to explain how to fill out the ballots, to validate each entry on the list of electors and to make address changes if there is a need to our new residents.
A record participation rate
To date, already more than 70% of our residents have voted in advance. It goes without saying that this alternative greatly encourages residents to vote since they do not need to travel outside. Whether for federal, provincial or municipal elections, Les Residences Soleil has been offering residents for several years the opportunity to vote in their own homes during advance voting days, thanks to the highly appreciated participation of the team. Electoral visits
We also had the pleasure of receiving the majority of the electoral candidates in all our Residences Soleil, throughout and even well before their campaign. Especially, very often at our birthday anniversaries where we celebrate all the anniversary of the month for our residents and employees.
