October 1st : Kick-off for the Open House Experience Soleil
Unsurprisingly, this day coincides with the kick-off of the Open House Soleil Experience.
From October 1st to 31st, every Résidences Soleil will welcome visitors from all over Quebec, whether they’re simply curious or about to take the plunge into residency.
Each visitor will receive a welcome gift, a personalized tour of the residence followed by a meeting with a Housing Advisor who will answer all your questions, as well as the chance to win one fo the 31 Soleil Stay*!

- Tuesday, October 1st: To celebrate this special day in style, we invite you to join your loved one in residence! For ice cream lovers, a sundae bar with live music awaits all residents and visitors!

- Tuesday, October 1st: The residence invites you and your family, children and grandchildren to join us for the special activities taking place on this special day.
- At 2 p.m.: A special all-music show in the ground-floor Salon, featuring Pierre Charon and Richard Chrétien, in a piano-vocal performance that will charm and entertain you with songs of yesteryear and melodies of today!

- Tuesday, October 1st, starting at 2:30 p.m.: All residents and their guests will be treated to pastries and coffee, while music, entertainment and surprises await you in the Back Garden and Dining Room!

- Tuesday, October 1st, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Come and join a loved one at our beautiful residence on the shores of the St. Lawrence River, accompanied by your family, children and grandchildren, to celebrate this special day with them. On the menu: specially organized morning activities in the dining room!

- Tuesday, October 1st, at 2pm, a pool tournament is organized with our residents, and special prizes will be awarded at the end of the tournament. During this event, some residents will share touching poems they have written themselves, in honor of the elderly. Then, at 4 p.m., the Manoir will be delighted to welcome accordionist Luzio Altobeli, much appreciated by the residents, who will add a festive touch to the day with his music!

- Tuesday, October 1st, at 1:30 p.m.: To make the day even more memorable, Les Résidences Soleil Manoir Boucherville invites you to a special afternoon activity in the dining room on Tuesday, October 1, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., with Linda Beauchamps and her husband Daniel Côté! Songs, music and dancing! And to help you rediscover Quebec products, we’ll be serving up an apple-pie snack! We look forward to seeing you and your family there!

- Tuesday, October 1st : Come and join your relative, friend or loved one for our traditional afternoon Bingo, where the prizes on offer have been upgraded for the occasion! Afterwards, we’ll have a special snack lovingly prepared by our kitchen teams, and serve non-alcoholic beverages in autumnal colors: an Apple Cider Sangria and a Peach Spritz.

- Tuesday, October 1st: To mark International Day of Older Persons, we’ll start with an afternoon arts and crafts activity. In the evening, we will combine the festivities surrounding this special day with our October anniversary party, which will be held under a retro theme. In addition to a number of lucky draws, employees, residents and their loved ones are invited to dress in ’50s attire!

- Tuesday, October 1st: A special edition of bingo will be organized, with residents’ families and loved ones joining in the fun. In addition, gifts and a special snack will be offered!

- At 2 p.m.: Don’t miss the special presentation of the show that’s as funny and touching as it is nostalgic: My Aunt Jeannine and her friend Jeanne – Hole memory and reunion! Presented at the Salle de Cinéma, this unique show features Jeannine, an outstanding storyteller, who will tell you all about her youthful adventures. For fans of captivating stories and the curious of all kinds, plunge into Jeannine’s friendly universe with your loved one, as she takes you on a humorous trip back in time to the Montreal of the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s!
