Distinction awards 2014 for retirement residences
Residences Soleil Manoir St-Leonard was recently recognized as the «Coup de Cœur» by the members of Québec Seniors’ Housing Group (QSHG), for their distinguished contribution to making a significant improvement to the seniors’ quality of life. Les Residences Soleil particularly stood out with their project called «Acte d’amour pour Noël». The concept: a special contest, initiated by Mr. Eddy Savoie himself, where the winner would win an apartment in a Residences Soleil for life as a gift.
During the holidays season, Mr. Eddy Savoie and his family, decided to offer a very unique gift for Christmas an apartment, entirely furnished to someone who truly deserved it. However, choosing only one person between all the touching stories received was so hard, the Savoie Family decided to give 24 other gifts: a one week stay for two at the Residences Soleil of their choice throughout the Quebec. The goal of the contest was to prove to all the people suffering from loneliness, that it is possible to break out of their solitude.
